1996 dodge intrepid 3.3L?

i changed the spark pulgs wire. the car started but then after i drove for about 5 miles the engin start shaking then it stops. could not start the car again,, when it cooled off it started fine, buth then when it get hot its off again then it will start after it cools off.. does that sound like a bad coil (not sure of the name i am talking about the box where the other side of the spark plugs wire connects too. cos its seems to me i am not getting current at time and thats way it will not start ... also how do i know its the coil and its not the wire that is delivering juice to the coil .. thats if i am even on the right track...1996 doge intrepid 3.3 l?JG, First thing to do is: turn the key on/off, on/off, on and leave key in on position. On the dash it will flash out a stored code. The code will repeat its self 3x. If your not sure just turn the key off and start again. This may help to narrow down the problem. E-mail back with code.
