2003 mistubishi eclipse check engine light on. Changed plugs and wires problem went away and now has come back?

Ok here is where it all started. My radio screen went off, the radio still works but the screen is blank. So, I have to guess what the station is because it doesnt show up over the screen! ugh, this sucks. Then, the check engine light came on about a month later. Then, i changed the spark plugs and wires, the check engine light went off and the car drove perfectly again. (the radio screen still has remained off) now it's about a month and a half later and the check engine light came back on and the car is driving the same terrible way; it is shaking at idle and sputtering when it drives. It feel like a misfire again, so myquestion is, What do you think this is and how can I solve it? I have been hearing it could need new coil packs, as the is a little over 100,000 miles now and I realize little wear and tear problems are going to occur. has anyone experienced anything similar, please please help me! I need a knowledgeable mechanic!2003 mistubishi eclipse check engine light on. You need to have the car scanned for codes to know what to repair. The coils are usually OK but if you have a misfire code many times it's because oil gets on the coil boots and wires. You need to replace the valve cover gasket and the 4 plug tower seals which are inside the valve cover.

Inspect the inside and outside of the coil boots for white marks caused by the spark arcing. The coil boots are sold separately at the dealer, you don't need coils. Only use NGK plugs! Bosch and Autolite plugs will cause the arcing problem.2003 mistubishi eclipse check engine light on. Changed plugs and wires problem went away and now has come back?possibly the belt
